HOURS OF SERVICE

Three ways to schedule an appointment with us:

• APPOINTMENTS: We highly encourage you to make an appointment when possible. This will ensure the highest level of individual attention during your scheduled appointment.

• WALK-INS: If you are unable to make an appointment, please consider our "walk-in" services. All we ask you to do is to call our clinic prior to your arrival to ensure reasonable accomodation and to minimize your wait time. Please remember that all walk-in appointments are subject to possible time delays as we have to honor first all of our appointments.

• APPOINTMENT REQUEST BY EMAIL: Please provide your country of travel, departure date, preferred schedule day and time and at least two contact telephone numbers such as home and cellular or office. We will confirm your online request within one business day either by telephone or email.

You can schedule an appointment or walk in during these clinical hours:

Monday to Thursday: 08:30 AM to 11:00 AM and from 01:30 PM to 04:30 PM

Fridays: 08:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Our clinic hours may extend beyond the above posted hours to accommodate seasonal demands of our traveling patients. Always call to confirm our current hours for services. We are closed all legally observed holidays.

HOW WE PRICE FOR TRAVEL IMMUNIZATIONS AND OTHER SERVICES

Here at Healthy Traveler Clinic, we hold true to our principle of “fair pricing, excellent service and value.” To our money-smart travelers, excellent value makes economic sense when both medical services and pricing of travel immunizations are balanced with the highest level of personalized services.

Our promise is to save you time, money and gas by completing all you need in one visit!

First, we promise you the highest level of professional knowledge and experience by our travel physician. Second, our pricing for travel vaccinations are very competitive. Third, and the most important, unlike other travel clinics in the area, we have one of the LARGEST INVENTORIES of travel vaccinations and immunizations in Southern California. Rest assured that in one visit, we can truly take care of you!

Please call Healthy Traveler Clinic for the latest pricing. Always remember that prices are subject to changes at all times because the pharmaceutical companies generally dictates pricing based on stock level, demand and national crisis.

What Form of Payment for Services?

We accept these major credit cards: Visa, Master Card, Discover, Debit and ATM cards.

We’re sorry to say that we do not accept personal or business checks at this time as form of payment.
Per credit card agreement, we also cannot accept third party credit card transactions. The primary cardholder must be physically present at time of service for payment to be accepted.
  

Can You Bill My Medical Insurance?

Healthy Traveler Clinic is not a member of any insurance or medical plans at this time. After completion of services, please submit directly to your own insurance carrier for direct reimbursements. Do remember that different insurance plans have different coverage's when it comes to claims regarding travel immunization services. You will need to check directly with your insurance carrier if your plan covers you for medical services rendered by a travel clinic.

However, we will provide you with a complete and detailed statement of medical services for direct submission to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursements. When you submit a claim, the processing of your claim(s) will be between you and your insurance company, not our clinic.

FOR OUR MEDICARE ELIGIBLE PATIENTS: If your are presently eligible for Medicare and/or Medicare Supplement, please remember that Part B Medicare DOES NOT cover the cost for immunizations and vaccinations. Because it is a "non-covered" services, the cost of immunization and vaccination will be an out of pocket expense for you.

 

CAN YOU GIVE ME DIRECTIONS TO YOUR PASADENA CLINIC?

We are located on the southwest corner of East Green Street and Chester Avenue in the City of Pasadena. We are five blocks east of Lake Avenue and two blocks west of Pasadena City College. Please note that Green Street runs one way eastbound only. Plenty of free, non-metered, street parking around our facility!
